The People Who Make Camp Amazing

    Our Camp Staff

Meet the incredible team of leaders who deliver fun, safe, and memorable experiences for your children every school holiday.

    Meet the Team

The School's Out team is made up of a blend of different backgrounds and specialities to ensure we deliver the best camp experience to all children. From qualified Primary School Teachers to experienced Sports Coaches, our team is driven to providing premium holiday activities.

All staff are Enhanced DBS checked and trained in Safeguarding to ensure a safe and supportive environment for your child to flourish.

Our friendly staff leaders are on hand to welcome all children to camp and integrate newcomers into the group. Together they create supportive staff-to-child ratios of at least 1:10 ensuring all children's needs are met.

Brightly coloured uniforms are worn by all team members to identify their position at camp, making it easier for children to identify their leaders in their day camp and create a strong rapport.

    Our Camp Leaders

Our camp leaders are comprised of specialists in each course area:

    Camp Managers

All of our Camp Managers wear blue and provide an easy point of contact at each venue so you can get in touch with them at any point throughout the day. They are paediatric first aid trained, keeping children safe in the event of accidents.

    Safe & Trusted

Your children's safety is our number one priority — always.

    Enhanced DBS

Every single staff member is Enhanced DBS checked

The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is the highest level of criminal record check available. Every member of our team — from Camp Managers to Next Generation volunteers — undergoes an Enhanced DBS check before they ever step foot on camp. We verify these annually to maintain the safest possible environment.

    Ofsted Registered

Registered and inspected — meeting the highest standards

School's Out Activities is fully registered with Ofsted, meaning we meet strict national standards for childcare provision. Our venues are subject to regular inspections covering safeguarding, staff qualifications, premises safety, and the quality of activities we deliver.

    Safeguarding Trained

All staff complete comprehensive safeguarding training

Every team member completes Level 1 Safeguarding training before their first day, with senior staff trained to Level 2 and above. Our Designated Safeguarding Leads hold Level 3 certification.

    Want to Join Our Team?

We're always looking for passionate, energetic people to join our camp team. If you love working with children and want a rewarding holiday job, we'd love to hear from you.

Minimum age 17. Ofsted does not recognise under-17s within our staffing ratios. The only exception is Lifeguarding: 16-year-olds can apply for a Lifeguard role only if they already hold a recognised lifeguard qualification (e.g. RLSS NPLQ).
